The Dallas Ruby Brigade has been around since early 2006. We work to strengthen the programming community through presentations, hacking, teaching, and learning about the Ruby programming language. There is always food. Sometimes there is beer. All are welcome!

Meetings

Meetings always include food, drinks, and friendly conversations. All levels of skill are welcome to attend any meeting we have. There are no dues or obligations on your part. Show up and have fun.

Main Meeting - First Tuesday

The first Tuesday of every month, we meet for our main monthly meeting. We usually have a speaker who presents for between 30 minutes and an hour. Afterwords there's time to network and discuss.

Hacknight - Third Tuesday

The third Tuesday of every month, we meet at the offices of Modern Message in downtown Dallas. Hacknights are unstructured and provide a chance to work on personal projects, ask for help, and chat about whatever comes to mind.

Continutations - Every Other Wednesday

Continuations is a 2-hour structured event designed to move your Ruby/Rails project forward and provide constructive feedback to make you a more valuable developer. What Toastmasters is to public speaking, Continuations is to software development.
