The Dallas Ruby Brigade has been around since early 2006. We work to strengthen the programming community through presentations, hacking, teaching, and learning about the Ruby programming language. There is always food. Sometimes there is beer. All are welcome!
We meet on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. The first is our primary meeting which often includes a speaker. Talks usually last between 30 minutes and 1 hour. Afterwords there's time to network and discuss. The third is a hacknight where we work on personal projects, ask for help, and chat about whatever comes to mind.
Whether you're new to GraphQL or serving your own schema in
production, there will be something for you. We'll dive into the
benefits, ecosystem, and implementation patterns for building a
GraphQL API in Ruby.
About the speaker
Wynn Netherland works at Kubos, building GraphQL APIs to monitor and control satellites in space. Prior to joining Kubos, he led teams building GraphQL implementations at GitHub and SolarWinds Cloud.
